There comes a point in life where you witness the heavy toll that illness and pain can take, not just on the body, but on the spirit. You've seen it: the silent battles, the sleepless nights, the whispered prayers through clenched jaws and tired tears. You’ve stood in hospital rooms, in quiet homes, in places where healing seemed far away, and you’ve carried the weight of not knowing what tomorrow would bring.
However, even in the darkest moments, there is something that keeps us grounded… FAITH!
When we walk with someone through their suffering, or experience it ourselves, there’s a longing not just for relief, but for peace. And one day, that glory moment comes. One day, the Lord calls and says, "Struggle no more."
It is in that moment, we believe, that every pain is silenced. The tears wiped clean. The fight finished, not in defeat, but in divine victory. What once was a body broken is now made whole. What once was tired is now at rest in perfect peace.
We grieve, Yes, but we do not grieve without hope.
Because to live in pain is a part of this earthly walk, but to be called home is the fulfillment of a promise. A promise that love never ends. That the struggle was never wasted. That the glory waiting on the other side is far greater than anything we’ve endured here.
So today, as you think about your loved ones, or perhaps your own healing journey, remember this:
He sees the struggle. He honors the pain. And when the time comes, He calls with mercy: “Struggle no more.”
May that be our comfort, our reminder, and our peace.
